CM Vijay launches the Nalam TN digital health portal during his Perambur visit, aimed at improving access to government healthcare services and enabling citizens to access health-related services online.
During his first official visit to Perambur, Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay launched "Nalam TN," a new digital public health portal aimed at improving citizens' access to government healthcare services across Tamil Nadu. The launch formed part of the same programme that saw the Chief Minister inaugurate a new MLA office and flag off a statewide ration card distribution drive.
Nalam TN is designed to let residents access government health-related services online rather than navigating in-person processes at hospitals or government offices. The portal is positioned as part of the broader digital governance drive the TVK government has been pursuing since taking office, extending the same online-first approach already applied to grievance redressal and public service delivery.
The health portal's launch came on the same day CM Vijay inaugurated a digitally-equipped MLA constituency office and a new grievance-tracking mobile app in Perambur, underlining a consistent theme across the visit: using technology to make government services more directly accessible to citizens, whether the issue is a civic complaint or a healthcare need.
