After months of delays, certification battles and speculation, KVN Productions has officially confirmed that Jana Nayagan — Thalapathy Vijay's 69th and final film — will release worldwide on July 23, 2026. The confirmation arrived with a new poster showing Vijay in character, ending weeks of unofficial reports and finally giving fans a date straight from the makers themselves.
The announcement was shared across KVN Productions' official social media, accompanied by the poster and a short line: "Tested by fire. Forged by time. Built for history. The tougher the battle, the louder the victory." The post carried three hashtags — #JanaNayaganFromJuly23, #JanaNayakuduFromJuly23 and #JanNetaFromJuly23 — confirming simultaneous Tamil, Telugu and Hindi releases under those respective titles.
The film will also release internationally alongside its Indian debut.
