School Education Minister Rajmohan released the 2026-27 public exam schedule: Class 12 from March 3 to 29, Class 10 from March 17 to April 12, and Class 11 arrears from March 5. Results on May 7 and May 20.
School Education Minister Rajmohan released the timetable for the 2026-27 Class 10, 11 and 12 public examinations on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Directorate of Government Examinations in the Anbazhagan Education Campus, Chennai (ETV Bharat Tamil, News7 Tamil).
Releasing the schedule five months ahead gives about 16.6 lakh students and their teachers a clear runway to plan revision.

Days of the week are worked out from the dates. Students should confirm their subject codes with the official timetable PDF at dge.tn.gov.in.
The SSLC exam has gaps of three to eight days between papers, and the Plus Two exam has three to six days between papers — useful revision time for students. With results planned for early and mid-May, students will have their marks well ahead of college admissions. Name lists of candidates are being prepared online (News7 Tamil).
