01 · Overview

The Film

An honest CID inspector building a case against the dangerous criminal Tiger Kaali learns that his wife Seetha has been secretly battling blood cancer. Before the family can travel abroad for her treatment, Kaali murders her and destroys the evidence, hardening the inspector's resolve to bring him down.

Kalki's P. S. S. felt Chandrasekhar's attempt to blend family sentiment with a revenge story was not fully successful.
