Sattam Oru Vilayaattu

As a child, Raja sees his mother and younger brother murdered, and his policeman father cannot get a conviction for lack of evidence. Grown up and going by the name Vijay, he takes revenge on the criminal Mathappu Sundaram by killing his three sons in disguised ways.

The Indian Express and Kalki criticised the contrived screenplay, but the film became a super hit alongside Vijayakanth's simultaneous release Uzhavan Magan.
