Kudumbam

Vijay falls for Devi, and with help from Shankar and Vijaya the two marry. Vijay neglects his wife, who dies suddenly soon after giving birth. A family quarrel splits the household, and Vijay later takes his daughter and his nephew Raja away. The children end up on the streets, where Latha shelters them from gangs out to seize them, and the family is eventually brought back together.

The Kalki reviewer was critical of both the performances and the way the characters were written.
