The Film

Sigma is a 2026 action-heist comedy written and directed by Jason Sanjay, his first feature film. It was shot in Tamil and Telugu at the same time. It stars Sundeep Kishan, with Faria Abdullah, Sampath Raj, Raju Sundaram and Shiv Panditt.

The story is set in Vizag. Guru (Sundeep Kishan) runs a home library and is desperate to clear his father's debt. He stumbles on a drugs racket and tries to use what he knows to make money, which puts him in the path of the smuggler Veerayya Reddy (Sampath Raj). Then comes a treasure hunt and a heist.

Lyca Productions announced the film in August 2023 and revealed the title Sigma in November 2025. After two date changes, it was released on 2 October 2026.

The Story

“A broke librarian in Vizag finds a way to make quick money. It drags him into a smuggler's world, a treasure hunt and a heist he never planned.”

Guru runs a small home library and is under pressure to clear his father's debt. When he learns of a drugs-and-gambling network, he tries to blackmail his way to money. The man really in charge is Veerayya Reddy, a powerful smuggler. Faria Abdullah plays the female lead, and the chase leads to a locker, a skull-shaped key and a heist.
