The Film

Pull the Trigger is a 2023 English-language short film, written and directed by Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay. It runs about 13 minutes.

It is a murder mystery about two brothers, Jay and Roy. After his brother's death, Roy is left confused and searching for answers, and the film follows him as he tries to make sense of what happened.

Jason made it as part of his film training, with an international cast and crew. He released it on his YouTube channel on 18 April 2023. Four months later, Lyca Productions announced his feature debut, which became Sigma (2026).

The Story

Roy is struggling with the death of his brother, Jay. What really happened is unclear, and the police are involved. In 13 tight minutes, the film moves between Roy's confusion and the clues around the death, building towards its reveal.
